The M. Tech Programme in Computer Science & Engineering is a two-year AICTE approved master’s program aimed at addressing complex industrial and technological problems through advanced learning and research in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. This program, offered from the academic session 2018-19, follows the curriculum guidelines set by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal.

The curriculum includes rigorous coursework comprising core courses and electives, along with up to a year of project work. The focus is on providing comprehensive knowledge in advanced design, analysis, and operation of computer systems. The integration of hardware and software aspects is emphasized throughout the program.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering conducts the course, with faculties from both the department and external specialists from prestigious institutes and technical staff from industries regularly invited to lecture on various modules.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech./B.E. in Electronics, Electronics & Communication (E&C), Electrical & Electronics (E&E), Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), or Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC) with a minimum of 60% marks
M.Sc. in Physics or Electronics with a minimum of 60% marks
