The M. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Power System Engineering is a two-year post-graduate program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the modern power industry. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum, including the monitoring, development, design, and evaluation of advanced power systems for diverse projects and research endeavors. Emphasis is placed on economically viable, sustainable, efficient, and reliable energy generation, as well as the concepts of electric energy conversion, transmission, distribution, storage, and utilization.

Students also gain essential project management skills to effectively handle projects within budget and time constraints. The program features state-of-the-art laboratories where theoretical knowledge is put into practice. Most subjects include both theoretical sessions and practical classes.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech./B.E. in Electronics, Electronics & Communication (E&C), Electrical & Electronics (E&E), Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), or Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC) with a minimum of 60% marks
M.Sc. in Physics or Electronics with a minimum of 60% marks
